The Ritz-Carlton, İstanbul is located in the Dolmabahçe district, overlooking the Bosphorus and within walking distance of many of the city’s cultural landmarks. The hotel brings together İstanbul’s layered urban context with a refined hospitality approach, complemented by the presence of Nobu Istanbul, known for its Japanese–Peruvian cuisine.
Our work for The Ritz-Carlton, İstanbul focused on a range of editorial, visual, and collaborative initiatives developed for the hotel. These included the design of “The Gazette”, a quarterly bilingual newsletter featuring hotel news and interviews; the art direction and production of a campaign shoot; and the development of curated gift concepts and collaborations.
As part of this scope, we worked with ceramic artist Sinem Erkılınç Türetken on a bespoke evil eye design created exclusively for hotel guests, and collaborated with Marsel Delights on a custom collection of Turkish delights for Nobu. We also coordinated commissioned artwork by artist Ebru Döşekçi, developed specifically for the hotel.
